Arcana-dipika means “the lamp that illuminates arcana”. The term arcana signifies honour, or worship. Het is moeilijk om te concentreren tijdens japa

Vaak als het  moeilijk is om u te  concentreren tijdens japa. Neem dan een stoel of een kruk en plaats daar een foto van Narayana Vishnu. Loop nu terwijl u japa doet hier omheen, dan maakt u een parigram of rondgang vertaald. Dit verhoogd de concentratie. Een stukje geschiedenis over deze spirituele nectar, Maha punyam! De Devidhota’s naar het Maha Bharatha hielden een wedstrijd wie het eerste om het universum heen was gegaan. Toen zij dit van Vishnu te horen kregen een wedstrijd houden, en de enorme prijs voor de winnaar, renden en sprongen zij meteen op hun rijdieren, en strijdwagens en sprintte er vandoor om als de eerste rond het universum te kunnen gaan, alleen Ganesha bleef achter. Met zijn muis, en hij dacht; ik red dat nooit, . Ik ben niet snel genoeg, dat heb ik al verloren, en  laat de slurf als het ware hangen.. En dan hoort hij ineens een stem, die roept! Ganesha schrijf de naam Narayana op een blad en loop er dan omheen. En door dat te doen was hij al om het hele universum heen gegaan. Als men dit ook doet heeft men meteen ook alle heilige plaatsen bezocht die er maar zijn in het universum. En toch, is blijven zitten op een plek nog steeds beter want dan pas! Overwint u de manasah (geest) en de materie en is dat niet veel hoger dan alle punyam? (Ook het rondgaan om tempels geeft spirituele opbrengst.)
