At Jagannath temple, Prasads are famous as like Sree Jagananth. At India and other country temples you will find Prasad. But only at Jagannath temple you get Mahaprasad. Mahaprasad means Ma + Prasad , After Sree Jagannath, Prasads are again devoted to Maa Bimala. Debi Bimala is the Root Goddess of Puri. By that it has got the word Mahaprasad.

India lunch gratis lunch voor schoolkinderen, en sri Jagannatha geschiedenis.

Wat u in deze video ziet wordt al meer dan duizenden jaren in de keuken van de Jagannatha tempel in Orissa gedaan voor pelgrims op oude stookplaatsen en grote kleien ketels waar rijst voor tienduizenden of meer dan een crore pelgrims gekookt kan worden.
